What is the fastest way to reduce some extra fat?

What is the fastest way to reduce some extra fat?

The best and easiest answer to this question, is to eat a diet filled with good quality protein/fats/carbs, as well as implementing strength training and some cardio intervals.

There are also small little tricks you can add for extra help along your journey. There is no hard and fast way of losing weight, and it’s an accumulation of creating a deficit over time that will make the overall difference.

When talking about deficit, this is referring to eating more good quality, dense food rather than the lack of food. This is the mistake most people make when dieting. They immediately revert to the 1200 calorie diet. This is not only wrong, but it’s not sustainable over time. I don’t know about you, but losing weight, then putting it back on and repeating this constantly, is not a very ideal situation. It puts a lot of stress on you, not to mention your body.

You really want to make those life changes over time, and stick with it for as long as possible, getting to a point where you know your body very well, and don’t have to think about it too much.

There will of course, there comes a time where you may slip off the bandwagon, and that’s completely normal. The trick is to have the tools necessary and know what strategies you now have to put in place to reverse the damage. This is the best and healthiest way to lose body fat and keep it off indefinitely.

Now, if you are after something quite fast, which you just want to use for a particular event or perhaps for aesthetic purposes, I would recommend the Keto diet. This diet is not for everyone, and a lot of people struggle with it long term. What you can do is use the methods and cycle your diet accordingly. There is no rule book that says you can’t be on a keto diet for a couple of weeks, and throw in a day or two of carbs whilst lowering your fat intake.

This is a very smart strategy, and will help you to continue maintaining your eating plan without feeling deprived or developing endless cravings. This is exactly what I do for my own aesthetic purposes, and find it to be very useful. I don't experience any negative side effects or feel restricted. You can easily come up with a suitable plan and try this out yourself.

I will highlight a few tips and tricks below for you to think about.

It’s important to understand the different foods available for you to consume, and their fat, calorie and protein intake.

This takes a bit of education, but well worth the effort. I’ve actually created an easy to follow PDF booklet that you can download via this link. Free portion ^~^ fat burning tips booklet. You need to be able to train effectively, which includes both your strength training and your cardio sessions. This takes a bit of careful planning and some research.

Alternatively, you could hire a personal trainer and have the run through some programs with you. Sometimes when you are just starting, this is the best way to make the first step.

You want to know what will work best, and how your form should be. It’s best to seek the help of a professional to eliminate setbacks, injury and even giving up when you aren’t sure you’re being effective enough. Resting is just as important as working out. It’s important for your weight loss progress to sleep well, and take rest days (or active recovery days).

Rest days mean that you allow your body to heal from the vigorous activity. Active recovery is when you still feel like being somewhat active, and choose a low impact form of exercise.

This can be yoga, walking or even some Pilates classes. These in themselves can really help you with becoming centred in mind, body and spirit. I highly recommend you do these on a regular basis. Keeping yourself well hydrated is key to weight loss.

Drinking water helps you to avoid eating unnecessarily. Cold water actually speeds up your metabolism somewhat. Staying hydrated cleanses your body of waste products. Water retention is actually caused by dehydration, therefore it’s important to keep your fluids up.

When you sweat via exercise or as a result of extreme temperatures, it’s even more important to drink that extra bottle or two. You will also assist your body to eliminate cellulite, which is a build up of waste on the surface of your skin.

One really important factor that you can keep in mind, is to actually chew your food slowly. It’s amazing how much extra food you guzzle down when you’re not consciously aware of chewing properly.

Adding that extra bit of time to chew will allow your body to catch up and let you know it’s full, and doesn’t require anymore fuel. This is such an easy way to lose weight. Just make sure you pay close attention and stop when your body signals you to.

I do hope these simple yet effective ideas help you along your journey.
