I've lost 15kg in the last 5 months, I've never been to a gym, no jogging, no running. I just managed my meal (and thus, calorie intake).
I'll tell you my general idea:
Go for a low carb diet (not a sugar diet, that means you won't eat rice, pizza, yogurt, bread, noodles, cakes, wheat products, dried fruit, etc.),
No soft drinks , Alcohol, etc. They are your worst enemies. God!.Eat as much fresh green vegetables as you can (such as cabbage, broccoli, spinach).Eat more white meat (chicken, fish) for calorie intake.Walk at least 5 kilometers a day, you can use some apps to track the distance.It's all about calorie management. For a loss of about 3500 calories, you lose 0.5 kg. So, if your Basic Metabolic Rate (BMR) is 1800 calories a day (especially for a person weighing 80kg), you can eat 1 100 calories a day (you have 700 calories deficient), ∼5km Walk (you lose 300 calories).
Minimize 900-1000 calories a day, you lose about 1 kg in a week. You lose about 3-4 kg in a month. Enough with a balanced lifestyle.Last but not least, every time you buy a food product, read the ingredient label. Just don't choose a high-carb food product.
Well even if you are losing about 2 kg / month just by managing your diet, this is fantastic!
Believe me, a low-carb diet is more helpful for weight loss than a low-fat diet.
